As 2026 draws to a close, we’ve put together an itinerary to savour. Delicious fine dining, cocktails and fireworks we have every aspect of your New Year celebrations in hand.

Our New Year Sparkler break can be either two or three nights, the choice is yours.

Our New Year break arrives on Wednesday 30th December 2026 for two nights departing on the morning of Friday 1st January 2027. For those wishing to stay for three nights an additional night on Friday January 1st will be added.

With just 19 rooms here at Ty’n Rhos Country House, reservations fill up in advance. Feel free to browse at the menus and day’s activities below and call us if you have any other questions.

Winter can be a beautiful time of year here in Snowdonia. The mountain vistas take on a whole new life. With arrival at Ty’n Rhos from 1pm you’ll have time to enjoy the drive in too.

Once checked-in and settled, enjoy a pot of tea or coffee and cake, followed by a leisurely few hours with plenty of time for a winter’s walk or just relaxing in house.

Later in the evening enjoy a three-course dinner before retiring for the night ready for tomorrow night’s celebrations.

For those already at Ty’n Rhos, wake up to a glass of bucks fizz together with a continental breakfast served from 8.30am to 9.30, after which you may wish to venture out before returning at around 2pm to enjoy a mini festive afternoon tea and festive tipple.

For those arriving at 1pm today – Once checked-in and settled, enjoy a mini festive afternoon tea and festive tipple, followed by a leisurely few hours with plenty of time for a winter’s walk or just relaxing in house.

In the afternoon, Hilary will be letting you into some of Tyn Rhos’ kitchen secrets with a demonstration in the conservatory.

With plenty of time left to get glammed up for the evenings event: a cocktail and canape reception awaiting you at 7pm followed by a five course fine dining experience and Wine Flight in our restaurant. After dinner, fireworks (weather permitting) and champagne to raise a glass to 2026 and bring in 2027.

What better to start 2027, than with a breakfast of your choice.

After which there will be ample time to head-off for some time to yourselves taking in some beautiful fresh Welsh air that surrounds us here. Once back at Ty’n Rhos, we’ll be hosting a quiz afternoon, with prizes for the winning team, and festive treats of Christmas pork pie, and homemade cake for all.

As evening sets in at Ty’n Rhos on New Year’s Day, we’ll be rounding off the celebratory few days with a two course evening dinner.
