At the time of your booking you will be asked for a £50.00 non-refundable deposit per room to secure your booking. It may be possible to transfer a deposit to another date within six months of your original booking, but this is at the discretion of the manager.
(Our normal cancellation policy is based upon someone booking one individual room with us for up to a maximum of 5 nights)
In this case our cancellation policy is as follows;
Up to 48 hours prior to arrival date – no further charge other than the non-refundable deposit which has already been received.
If cancelled within 48 hours of arrival a full charge will be made if we are unable to re-let the room.
5 nights or more – cancellation policy as above however extends to 7 days notice.
Group & Event Date Cancellation Policy
Cancellation policies will be extended at the manager’s discretion depending upon the booking you are making (how many bedrooms & length of stay). Larger deposits may also be required on group bookings and event dates.
Cancellation policies on long stays, group bookings and event dates such as Christmas, New Year, Gourmet Evenings and Marathon Dates may be extended up to 8 weeks with up to a 25% deposit.
As a hotel we do operate a non-smoking policy throughout the whole establishment. This includes e-cigarettes.
Cleaning charges will be applied together with loss of revenue if we are unable to re-let the room.
We will note any bedroom preference that you may have upon booking with us, and we will endeavour to try our up-most to provide you with your request. However, on some occasions this may not always be possible. In this event, we will ensure you have the room most similar to your original request.
To make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible, please ensure upon booking you inform us of any essential requirements you need such as;
A ground floor room due to mobility problems, walk-in shower, twin beds, allergies to bedding (ie feathers), food allergies or dietary requirements.
Please bear in mind if we do not know about specific requirements in advance, we may not always be able to accommodate them on short notice, for example, on check-in.
