Wakestock is back! Book hotels in Snowdonia to be near the massive, spectacular 2013 wakeboarding event this summer. The 12th, 13th and 14th of July will bring Wakestock to Snowdonia with a splash of water and explosion of music. Wakestock is the biggest wakeboarding event in Europe!
For those who have never been to the event and are not knowledgeable of water sports, wakeboarding came about through surfing and not enough waves. Wakeboarding features being positioned on a board while being dragged by a customised speed boat at approximately 25 miles an hour and then launching into the area to perform twists, tricks and manoeuvres.

Cycling in the Caernarfon area
The area around Caernarfon has a large range of cycling paths which are ideal for solo rides, or indeed romantic cycles or family journeys. Made even more accessible by the Welsh Highland Railway which is now possible to take bikes on, giving you access to a wide range of tracks, including those that go back to Caernarfon, so you can have a nice scenic train journey as well as an adrenaline pumping or relaxing bike ride. Bangor New Music Festival is on now!

The Bangor New Music Festival is an annual celebration of new and contemporary music that usually takes place over a few days during March. This year’s event will take place from 9th March to 14th March 2013 and will showcase a range of dedicated volunteers in close co-operation with Bangor University’s School of Music. Artists to appear at the 2013 Festival include Catrin Finch, Dewi Ellis Jones and ElectroacousticWALES.
